Aluminium 7050 Round Bars are high-temperature heat-treatable alloys with mainly 4.2–4.9% zinc (Zn), 2.0–2.6% copper (Cu), 1.2–1.6% magnesium (Mg), and 0.12–0.25% zirconium (Zr), together with minute amounts of manganese, silicon, and titanium. Renowned for having outstanding stress corrosion cracking resistance, these bars provide tensile strength of 510–570 MPa and yield strength of 430–490 MPa, based on temper. Having superior machinability, toughness, and fatigue strength, Aluminium 7050 offers high performance for severe applications where high-strength lightweight material has to endure long mechanical as well as environmental stress.
