Aluminium 5754 is an aluminium-magnesium alloy that mainly consists of aluminium (the balance), magnesium (2.6–3.6%), and trace amounts of manganese (0.3%), iron, and other elements. This alloy is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine and industrial settings. It boasts a tensile strength between 190–330 MPa and a yield strength of around 80–280 MPa, depending on the temper.
