Aluminium 6082 Chequered Plates are produced using an aluminium–magnesium–silicon alloy, which generally contains 0.7–1.3% magnesium (Mg), 0.4–1.0% silicon (Si), plus traces of manganese, copper, iron, and chromium. The well-balanced composition offers superior strength, weldability, and resistance to corrosion. At a tensile strength of 260–310 MPa, yield strength of around 240 MPa, and elongation of 10–12%, these plates provide a hardness of 75–95 HB. Their mechanical properties render them extremely durable, whereas their slip-resistant nature makes them secure and ideal for extreme flooring, transportation, and structural use.
